At a meeting of organisers last night it was agreed that the theme of the Carnival will be Music, and it will take place in Antigua between 13-16 February 2020 and in Caleta de Fuste between 21-23 February 2020.

The main Carnival Events in Puerto del Rosario will take place from 22 Feb - 1 Mar 2020.  It will be a local bank holiday in Puerto on Tuesday 25 February which is Martes de Carnivale (the UK's Shrove Tuesday).

The theme is Aztec World, Mexico.

22.00 Festival of the 80's with Orquesta Jacomar, Orquesta Los Idolos and Los 600

16.00 - Day Carnival with a street parade and musical performances, workshops and Murga Singing groups

The Carnival in Gran Tarajal (Tuineje Municipality) will be celebrated from 5-15 March 2020.

The theme is the World of Animals.

The Carnival will be celebrated in Betancuria on the 14 and 15 March 2020. The theme is Publicity.

They have a street parade on Sunday 15 March at 11.30.  It's the smallest Carnival on the island, but worth going to if you are visiting that part of the island.

The Antigua Carnival in 2022 will be celebrated from 17-27 February 2022.
Monday 21 February will be the Carnival Holiday day.
The Carnival is usually in Caleta de Fuste over the last weekend.
