Fuerteventura Airport has carried out today a general simulation of air accidents, included in its Self-Protection Plan, where the activation and response times of the airport's security services were analyzed, as well as coordination with external aid media.



The objective of the drill

An 18-year-old woman is in critical condition following a serious quad bike accident in Los Alares, in the municipality of Antigua, Fuerteventura, according to reports from the Canary Islands Emergency Services.

The Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES) responded to an alert for help at just after 7:00am and dispatched the necessary resources to the location given.
