The Civil Guard, in the so-called operation 'Sortie 23', has dismantled a criminal organization that provided false documentation to migrants in an irregular situation to travel from the Canary Islands to the Peninsula or to other countries of the European Union. The profits obtained by the organization exceed 100,000 euros.

The Civil Guard of Fuerteventura immobilizes a plane with falsified documentation.

The Civil Guard of Fuerteventura, has identified a 64-year-old person and pilot of an aircraft, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of Falsification of Public Document by manipulating the data of an airworthiness review certificate in order to evade the controls of the Spanish authorities in aviation safety, and to be able to sell the aircraft in third countries, possibly in Africa.

I believe a Visa is required to enter Fuerteventura if you are staying long term but not sure if there is any new documentation required for short term stays i.e. 5 weeks. Can anyone who has recently travelled over let me know please.
