Local elections
A question if anyone can answer it.
I was in a bar last evening and on the outside terrace, one of the local parties were holding a meeting, after which they handed out vouchers for a free drink to everyone that was registered to vote, surely this is tantamount to bribery? or am I overreacting?

2024, British citizens living abroad who have previously lived in the UK or been registered to vote in the UK at some point in their lives, are now eligible to register to vote in UK general elections regardless of how long they’ve been living outside the UK. A new law has removed the previous 15-year time limit.

Hi folks,
A question! I can find lots of info on the EU page and Spanish pages about how to register to vote etc (I am an EU citizen) but precious little about the actual
format
of the vote.
Is it tick one preferred candidate, or select a number in order of preference as in proportional representation, or what? How many votes can you give?
