Canarias Surf Film Festival
OK, short notice I'm afraid, but for anyone who loves surfing there's a screening of Surf documentary films on 2, 3 and 4 November.  The screening are in the Municipal Auditorium in Corralejo.  Friday 2 November it's 9.00pm to 10.30pm.  Saturday 3 November it's 9.00pm to 10.00pm.  And on Sunday 4 November it's 8.00pm to 9.30pm.  To see some details of the films, go to https://canariassurffilmfestival.com/

Perhaps not a film star, but a casting company need extras to work in the next couple of weeks, filming will take place at Tres Islas hotel, Corralejo.

The parts are for 'mature tourists' of northern european appearance. If you can play tennis or like dancing, even better!

Meals are provided at Tres Islas on the days you are required.

Pay between 70 and 200 euros per day depending on role/speaking part etc.

Maleficent actor Sam Riley to film in Fuerteventura.

The municipality of Pájara has been selected by German film director Jan-Ole Gerster as an open-air set to film his latest thriller, which will feature English actor Sam Riley, known for films such as Maleficent, as the protagonist, the city council said in a statement.

The mayor, Alejandro Jorge; the Councilor for Economy, Finance and Social Services, Kathaisa Rodríguez; the Councilor for Sports, José Benito Alonso
