The only woodland in Fuerteventura
If you are bored of going to the beach every single day it might be a good idea to have a BBQ or picnic in the woods - not sure if woods is the right word though.

To find this place isn't that difficult once you know where to look.

Our starting point is Betancuria - once the capital of the Kingdom of the Canary Islands (for about 20 years) and later the capital of Fuerteventura (over 400 years). Anyway, once in

However, my wife prefers to lie on a comfy sunbed, and there aren't any at Sotavento, so we often go a bit further so

SBH Fuerteventura Playa
I've stayed in this hotel a few times in recent years, choosing it primarily because it was a cheap all-inclusive.  It's rather shabby now, and needs Money spending on it - SBH took it over this year and perhaps they'll upgrade it.  For me, as I spend most of my days on the beach, the hotel fulfilled my prime requirement of somewhere clean to sleep with reasonable food and drink included.
