Goat Association establishes a Stallion Centre.....
This is in the "you couldn't make it up" category!  Apparently the Fuerteventura Goat Breeders Association has been awarded €100,000 by the Cabildo to subsidise the startup of the Macho Majorera Breeding Centre.  The award recognises "the significant role that the livestock sector plays in the island's economy, which supports the production of the renowned Majorero cheese in the high dairy productivity of this breed.'

Goat statues around the island
There are loads of these statues throughout the island, all decorated differently. Anyone know how many there are? How many can you spot on your travels?
Please add your pics of any other ones so we can build a library.

Sorry, tech probs, will load pics of cabras de Vallebron, La Oliva and Villaverde tomorrow.
