Like many others, I was registered on the padron & had my registration struck off.
I am a UK citizen with a property on the island. Have paid all my bills from the Ayuntamiento for years by direct debit from La Caixia.
I went to re-register a few weeks ago before my return to the UK. I was informed that as I was no longer on their system, I would need to re-register. As I do not have a TIE, they said I would need the original deeds to register. I informed them these were in the UK, so I wo

During our last and current visit I don't recall seeing a single goat roaming free in the North of the island.
Just wondering if a policy has been introduced to restrict / ban free range goats?
Also the goat statues in El Roque and Lajares roundabout have been removed.
Are goats no longer considered an important part of the island's heritage and economy?
