Electric Water heater packing up
Hi all
Just back in Fuerte for a well earned break and noticed our Junkers Electric 30 litre 1500w water heater is leaking.
Had it for 3 years now so no complaints and would like to replace like for like if possible as I would like to do it myself.
Any ideas Where to buy (we are in Costa Calma and have a hire car so able to travel) and how easy are they to install?
Any special tools required?
Thanks in advance
Keith

Water heater failed after 2 years??
Hi all, first post!

Installed a oitsein water heater couple of years ago and it’s slowly leaking from the outer casing and there’s a little hole by the thermostat that seems to be dripping every few minutes regardless of the hot water being used?
Il see if I can post a pic but is this normal? Has the guy who fitted done something wrong or do they simply not last here? The old one was centuries old no issues except it didn’t provide enough hot water

Sola water heater
Thinking of getting one and just wondered if anyone has experience of them? I'm sure they work well in summer, but can you get away with them in winter? If not do they normally come with a backup immersion heater? If so how would that work? ie would it kick in automatically or would you have to switch it on manually?

Thanks!!!!

Pool heater advice needed
Does anyone have any experience of having a pool heater fitted, and of running costs, please? Tbh I am perfectly happy with our unheated pool. I am in it at least once every single day of the year, from its coldest at 19 degrees up to a balmy 30 degrees in mid-summer. My wife, however, is less keen, and is using the argument that our grandchildren would be much keener to visit in cooler periods if the pool was more ‘accessible’.

Solar heating is out for sound reasons, so an air-source heat p
