In need of a new hot tub lid & would prefer to purchase it locally rather than online.

David of Zig Zag used to make hot tub lids. However, his shop in Lajares seems to be shut & his number is disconnected.

So is anyone aware of an alternative maker of lids for hot tubs on the island?

Any recommendations for hot tub suppliers?

Just wondering if anyone has a ‘rough’ idea of the Labour cost for installing one solar panel with hot water tank on the roof of a two storey house?
There are already connections in place on the roof so it’s purely for fitting the solar panel and water tank and connecting up.
Just trying to get an idea of the Labour costs before I start getting quotes.

I’ve looked at previous threads, but the info there is quite old now. Our hot tub cover is looking pretty scruffy after ten years, and whilst I’m happy enough that it still does the job, I’ve been advised by she-who-knows-better that no, it WON’T just do for a while yet.

I believe a chap in Lajares recovers them, but from the sound of it our polystyrene blocks are broken in places. Has anyone bought one here on the island? I will see if Poolmark do covers alone as well as whole tubs,
