Does anyone know when is the new IKEA in industrial zone of El Matorral being open? There were some major works being done over the summer, not sure how they are progressing. We have used the current small IKEA for many things but the waiting/delivery time for the bigger stuff is just too long.

i bought a bathroom cabinet and sink from Ikea but it’s a slightly off white colour and therefor doesn’t match the rest of the sanitary ware.
Can anyone tell me if you can return and item even though it’s not faulty?
And if so do they charge?

I will be over soon but our place has no bed (long story).
So I will need to try and get one delivered and knowing
roughly when would help me try and plan something.

Hi all.

Having a problem with my IKEA furniture assembly.

They delivered the boxes yesterday. When I was discussing the delivery they told me I would have to contact the assembly Company separately after delivery.

So spent ages on the phone, various numbers , IKEA websites to get the contact phone number for the assemblers. No joy whatsoever! Except too many recorded messages in Spanish which were so fast I could not understand them.

Does anyone know where I can get the information

Has anyone bought items from them that required delivery?  If so did they deliver on the day promised?  Has anyone used their assembly service and if so how was it?  Do they take away your old furniture?  I am happy to pay for assembly and disposal of my old furniture.

I've just received an email from IKEA Family offering Health Insurance from 36€ per month. It looks like they are partnered with Mapfre. I'm not going to investigate further as not required personally but thought others may be interested.
The email says you can phone them or enquire in the shop.
