We were hoping to get to visit this before Christmas, but the problem is the busses. I looked at the schedule, and apparently the 01, 02, and 15 stop outside it, which is fine for the outbound journey, but coming back... Considering these busses have long journeys from the terminus and the Lidl is at the very end of the route, it seems impossible to predict when they might fetch up at the stop. That's little use when you're parked outside with a lot of bags full of produce!

The Lidl supermarket, located in Puerto del Rosario ,  has closed its doors when several  cases of COVID-19 were detected  among its employees. As Onda Fuerteventura has learned, the staff has  presented obvious symptoms of the disease and they have added to the lists of infections in recent days on the Island.

The Health

We do our heavy shopping i.e. water, tins, beers etc. on the way to the Villa on arrival as we don't have a car for all of our time on the island. A couple of years back we shopped at Mercadona and they didn't have any branded lagers, i.e. San Miguel, Dorada, Tropical, Estrella, Amstel etc. (all of which we like). Can't remember what it was called but the lager we bought, in our opinion, wasn't very nice. So could anyone let me know what 'branded' lagers Lidl or Mercadona sell now as the other p
