Wanted - Long Term Rent in North (Lajares, Cotillo etc)
The time has come, and a decision has been made.

I am looking to rent a property in the north of the island.

I have a preference for Lajares but anything in the north would be accepted (except Corralejo, I need something a bit quieter)

My search online has shown a ton of holiday rentals, but I'm looking for something a bit more long term.

If you have a property or know of someone that does, please send me a message.

Right now its an open search, and when the right one comes along

Long term Rental in Caleta
I have never thought before of putting this on here, God alone knows why I have a friend looking for a three bed long term rental in or near Caleta, she has a full-time secure job and by long term, she means years rather than months she shares with her 10 year old son and an Aunt who looks after the lad while she works, I have to assume she is on a bug=dget but I am not aware of what it is, but I do know 1100€ per month on the golf course was out of her range if anyone knows or hears of anyth

WANTED: (A Long Shot) Land Rover Discovery 3 HSE
So... I am a Landy Lover, and keen to start exploring more remote areas of the islands.

As such, I am in search of a Land Rover Discover 3 - HSE spec.
Ideally with the Petrol engine, but could consider the diesel if the condition of the car is tip top.

Currently looking at importing one from anywhere in Europe, but waiting till the right thing comes along.

Long Shot... but who knows.

How long before the flight should I get to the airport?
How long are the security checks taking to get through. Got an early morning flight (just hand baggage) in 2 weeks, wondering if the standard time of 2 hours before the flight is OK or is it taking longer?

Long or short term renting on the island— laws and likelihood?
Hi all,

we are considering buying a property for our "forever home" on the island, but it would be another 18-36 months before we could move full time. Is it realistic or wise to rent the property out long term for this period? Is there an issue with removing tenants at the end of the term even if you've notified them from the outset that the rental period will be less than three years? Does anyone have any insight into the taxation process for the resulting income?

I really don't want to
