Health agrees to the end of the mandatory nature of masks in social health centers and pharmacies.

The Ministry of Health has met with the Autonomous Communities to agree on the withdrawal of the mandatory use of masks that, until now, was maintained in social health centers and pharmacies.

In recent weeks the scientific community, as well as the Ministry of Health itself, have been in favor of the withdrawal of masks. Likewise, the session has been taken to the table of

From today, after its publication in the BOE, the mandatory use of masks disappears in all spaces. However, the Ministry of Health urges citizens and health authorities to maintain "the culture of responsibility acquired in recent years" and to continue using masks and other hygienic measures in the presence of symptoms of respiratory infections.
