Medical for driving licence exchange?
A slightly different tack on driving licences, so thought I would open a separate thread. I have my cita previa arranged to exchange my UK driving licence for a Spanish one - it’s something I do have to do in my particular circumstances. It’s not clear, however, whether the medical certificate is required for a straightforward ‘canje’. It’s not included in the list required on the DGT site, yet I know others who have  obtained it first and not had it rejected as not required. Scanning

Medical Advice
We are hoping to make the step up from spending just the winters in Fuerte to becoming resident but the decision always comes back to the medical support available.

We are of retirement age so would qualify for state care -private insurance is too expensive due to pre existing conditions which between us are hydrocephalus with a shunt inserted in the head /mini stroke/high blood pressure

Anyone have a doctor rec in Caleta?
We are both due some shots (not flu— for osteo and some other things) and it would make our lives a lot easier if we could get them at home, hen take them over and have them administered here rather than flying back to have them at times that aren't convenient. 

Anyone have any experience of the various clinics in Caleta? I know there is the big German clinic on the main street, and the British Clinic near the Barcelo and Happy Centre. Does anyone have a recommendation or any relevant exp

Cotillo Medical Centre is no longer opening for the regular morning and afternoon surgery sessions. Instead you need to phone Dr. Daniel to make an appointment (usually the same day).
