So my wife & daughter are taking a multi destination trip together in Central Europe next year & I’ve been given permission to take a solo trip, just wondering if the naturist numbers drop significantly at this time of year in Jandia, particularly around Butihondo, Esquinzo & Matorral.

We usually visit in early October, was in Corralejo mid July a few summers ago & there were only a handful nude just south of the Riu Oliva Beach

I was asked a few days ago about the illuminated  number '1' and number '3' on the top of taxis.   

 I had to confess I had no idea what they signify.   

Can anyone explain?

There were 475,048 passengers through Fuerteventura airport in January 2023. That is a 44.5% increase on the same month last year, and a 7.3% increase on January 2019.

There were 508,548 passengers through Fuerteventura airport in January 2024. That is a 7.1% increase on the same month last year.

Haven’t been at this time of year before but will be arriving April 30th staying at Riu Tres Isla, hopefully a healthy number about, anyone familiar with this time of year?

Fuerteventura is facing mounting pressure as it tops the list of Canary Islands with the highest growth in tourist arrivals during the first quarter of 2025.

New figures show the island saw a 7.8% rise in visitor numbers compared to the same period in 2024, welcoming 55,120 more tourists. In total, 758,195 people arrived in the first three months of this year.

The sharp increase is in stark contrast to its neighbour

There were 533,137 passengers through Fuerteventura airport in January 2026. That is a 3% decrease on the same month last year.

The number of flights at the airport were 4358, which is a 2.2% decrease compared to Jan 2025.
