Looks like there has been a shower overnight and it was only 14C at 7am 

Today's forecast - a mix of Cloud & Sun temp to reach 24C this afternoon, UV factor of up to 5 at mid-day, wind from the NW increasing from current 11Kmph to 30Kmph at 3pm

The British Consulate for Las Palmas will be at a meeting in Caleta de Fuste to talk about the effect of Brexit on UK nationals who live in Spain.
It's being held at 6pm on Thursday 14 March in the Cultural Center.

My personal view is that s/he won't know anymore than what we know already.

A Fun Run has been organised in Caleta de Fuste in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  It will take place on 19 October.

There are fiesta Events in Caleta de Fuste next weekend (10-13 October) to celebrate Nuestra Señora de Peña del Mar.  The main event poster is in Spanish and English, and there are posters for the Rowing Regatta and Sea Fishing Competition:

This weekend is one of the biggest event times on Fuerteventura.

Saturday 12 October is Spanish National Day and is a public holiday.

In Caleta de Fuste it is the Fiesta of Nuestra Señora de Peña del Mar on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

In Corralejo it is the Open Water swim from Los Lobos to Corralejo on Saturday, and on Sunday the round Lobos swim.

In El Cotillo it is Cotilleando, a music, art, dance etc festival on Saturday and Sunday.

There were two signs one at the roundabout where you turn inland to get to the motorway and the second was at the Parque Holandes roundabout, so not sure which section of the coast road will be closed.

Hi

I'm looking to see if anyone knows of a suitable space we could rent on the island for around 10 artists. We would be looking for an open plan space to divide up to areas for artists to work on their own practise (ranging from painters, sculptors to writers) - each needing around 5- 10msq in space. Would anyone know if anything like this on the island? thanks!

Due to the present situation the big Fiesta in Puerto del Rosario has been scaled down and Events are being shown online.

Wednesday 7th October is a local bank holiday in the Municipality of Puerto del Rosario.
