Our favourite places to eat in Corralejo
|
|
I recently gave praise to La Luna in another thread and was asked to tell of other places we like to eat.
We are not very adventurous, sticking to tried and tested restaurants. We currently have 3 other places where we like to dine.
La Mama on Calle Anzuelo and we always introduce ourselves to the lovely lady who touts for them and let her take us in to the restaurant.
Of course we have to dine in Avenida, the aioli is to die for and it is complimentary. However these days I am find

Should swimwear be banned from public places?
|
|
Is it just me who thinks people in swimwear ,bikinis, and the like, for both men and women should be banned in public places such as restaurants and supermarkets. ? Bad enough that they walk around town but when having a meal out,I think it is most disrespectful.
EDIT: Split from the D3 restaurant review, plus added a poll.

Places to Visit - GUISGUEY
|
Yesterday February 13th we decided to have a drive out to visit one of the places we hadn't been to on the Island, what a lovely village Guisguey is well worth a visit and wonder round. Unless you want to take the track over the top to El Time it a one road in and same road out, the FV214 off the FV1 north of PDR.
A super model village on display and they are either late taking their Nativity set down after Christmas 2019 or very early putting up for Christmas 2020

Places to Visit - Salinas Del Carmen
|
|
Morning walk yesterday took us to Salinas Del Carmen, a nice small rustic fishing village, just south of Caleta, home to the Salt Museum (Museo de la Sal). The church is a modern build with a very nice carved door.
There are 2 restaurants there, both good in my opinion, one is in the village closed Monday & Tuesday and one is at the museum run by the owners of Volcano, a very good restaurant in Caleta. The one at the Museum is only open at lunchtime, see photo.

Noticias:
In Fuerteventura for every 100 inhabitants there are 21 holiday places.
In La Oliva, with a trend that does not stop, the ratio stands at 50 holiday places per 100 inhabitants
The numbers do not lie, although it is true that not all the housing problem is holiday rentals, it is no less true that in municipalities such as La Oliva, with 50 holiday places per 100 inhabitants, the data are absolutely devastating for a healthy housing coexistence.
In general, in the Cana
