The Government of Germany has included the Canary Islands on its green list of safe travel destinations today (Friday), as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its website. This means that, like the UK’s green list, German tourists returning home only need to present a negative PCR test and avoid quarantine.

They are also the second country today to review the islands independently from Spain and allow travel, after the Netherlands gave the green light for both the Canaries

The Ministry of Ecological Transition and Energy of the Government of the Canary Islands, led by Mariano H. Zapata, participates in the public consultation of the Special Territorial Plan of Fuerteventura (PTE) for the implementation of energy projects that involve any type of production, transformation or distribution infrastructure, carried out by the Island Council.
