Where to buy - decent quality curtains
Can anyone suggest where we can purchase decent quality curtains? { And please nobody suggest El 99 } we have always used Decolar, and have been more than pleased with them, but we have redecorated our lounge and cannot find curtains that suit managements requirements!

Good quality engine oil
Does anyone know where I can buy good guality fully synthetic engine oil.  I have seen it for sale at petrol stations but was wondering if there are any recommendations for a car accessory shop?  The reason being is that I would expect to pay a premium for oil from a petrol station in the UK.

The Canary Islands Air Quality Laboratory is now operating in Fuerteventura.

The infrastructure will detect the levels of haze on one of the islands most affected by these phenomena

Fuerteventura already has a facility that detects aerosols and haze from desert dust that comes to us from the African continent with increasing regularity. The new infrastructure came into operation this past week and depends on a project that began on the islands at the end of last year.

The quality of primary schools
Hi everyone. We’re thinking about moving to Fuerteventura with our 2-year-old daughter. We know the island fairly well and are considering settling in Caleta or Costa Antigua.

To help her learn Spanish as quickly as possible, we’re looking into schooling starting in September 2027, when she’ll be 3. We’re considering the new public school in Caleta, but we’d be open to other options, including living elsewhere, if there are better schools.
