Just noticed that they have now installed an electric bike sharing station outside the R2 hotel. Goes by the name 'Lovesharing'.
Sounds like bikes for swingers! 

They have the names Nextbike and Lovesharing on the station. Both websites suggest you request information or download the app. No prices given. But it does say bring it back to this station, so not sure how far you could go or if any other stations are planned for Fuerteventura.

We just heard from the neighbours that the army are going door to door to check if people have long term rental contracts, or are staying on a holiday let basis. Presumably they are trying to identify all tourists, and encouraging them to leave.

I have never thought before of putting this on here, God alone knows why I have a friend looking for a three bed long term rental in or near Caleta, she has a full-time secure job and by long term, she means years rather than months she shares with her 10 year old son and an Aunt who looks after the lad while she works, I have to assume she is on a bug=dget but I am not aware of what it is, but I do know 1100€ per month on the golf course was out of her range if anyone knows or hears of anything

I have puchased a property and going to be letting it long term without using an agent, my question is does anyone on here have access to a template long term rental agreement as trying to find a downloadable form online is near impossible.

Does anyone know were I can get a rental contract instead of paying for one and or employing an agent?

Some of you may have seen the recent FB post regarding burglaries in Corralejo, what appears unusual about these is the criminals appear to have keys to the properties & have let themselves in while holidaymakers are sleeping at night - very concerning! 
Just a thought, but if you rent out your property it may be worth changing the lock barrels periodically.
