For anyone that likes to do their own NRIT, it would appear that there is now a new form. I tried the old one for 2018 and it failed! The good news is that the new one is even easier to complete...it calculates the tax for you - all you need is to enter the Cadastral Value of your property and the 19% IRNR rate.
I have just tested it and it is much simpler to use and have estimated that some people are paying as much as 300€ per hour to have this done for them. It really is a 15min job.

May seem like a silly question but we got our residencia in February so what tax to we pay?? Do we still do the non residents tax on the house??

I've just been told that one can have Residencia Green Card, even if you are not a permanent resident i.e have a holiday home here but live in UK.  Is this true?  And if so could I have some info on this please? How does it work? If you prefer, please PM me.

Just looking for a bit of advise or views please 

I am in a dilemma on whether I would be better quickly starting residency application now, in view of Brexit and my plans to stay regular in Fuerteventura .

I am in the process of selling my holiday home in Spain and buying in Fuerte (still non resident at the moment ). The plan is to use new house, as a holiday home mostly coming and going and who knows may relocate eventually

Just looking to budget for the coming year, and have been quoted a huge increase for the non-resident tax this year. It works out to be somewhere in the region of 60% more than last year. That seems very extreme for a one-year jump. I hasn't heard anything about a huge hike, though perhaps I have not been looking in the right places. 

Anyone else having this issue? Is there a reason for it? I'd love any insights anyone has to offer!
