Buying unfinished house in a rural area - obtaining a licence of the first occupation
Question asked on the Darkside
" I am interested to buy an unfinished villa from a Real Estate agent. It has a building permit but needs finishing and obtaining a licence of the first occupation. My concern is the fact that the actual size of the villa is bigger than projected size, although the agent says that it’s common practice for neighbouring houses, and all the townhall is interested in is that someone finishes it. Military check for rural property purchase
Has any UK citizen recently completed a rural property purchase? We are about to make a purchase in La Olivia Rural and have discovered this legislation dating from the Franco period that now applies to UK citizens as we are no longer in the EU.
We need to have permission from the Ministry of Defence to make the purchase. (More commonly known as the Military Check).
It starts with us getting a Criminal Records Check from the UK (
https://www.acro.police.uk/s/
).
Then I'm a bit confused.
