EU Entry & Exit Scheme
I have been corresponding with the EU regarding ETIAS.
The EU has informed me that before ETIAS becomes live there will be another barrier to entering the EU.
The EU entry & exit scheme (EES) is scheduled to start in
October
. It will register non-EU nationals each time they cross each border of participating European countries-EU member countries except Cyprus & Ireland plus Norway, Iceland, Switzerland & Liechtenstein.
The EES system will automate border control procedures & replace passport
