The Earthquake between GC and Fuerteventura yesterday got me thinking about tsunamis and our height above sea level

Was browsing Canarias7 today and was reminded that they regularly report the sea at Corralejo as being the warmest in the Canaries.

Did anyone else witness a large explosion? at sea just before 9pm this evening? Approx NW of me in Tindaya. Only lasted a few seconds but a pinprick of light suddenly grew to a large half sphere on the horizon before disappearing again, whole thing lasted about 3 seconds.
