111 people were rescued in a single day on their way to Fuerteventura
Two boats were helped when they were sailing towards the island.

Maritime Rescue rescued two boats heading for Fuerteventura on Saturday, with a total of 111 people on board.

This has been confirmed by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands, which points out that another 56 people were rescued in El Hierro.
