At last! After three unsuccessful weeks, I've finally caught the gecko that had taken up residence. When it was first spotted in the lounge, it was expected to remain there, no chance. It's been throughout the house including upstairs.
I was quite fearful of injuring it in the process, particularly not catching the very fragile tail. A clear glass pyrex mixing bowl and an A4 card to slide under once covered with the bowl did the job admirably. Released fully intact.

Hi, as a future investor in Fuerteventura I read concerning reports of squatters occupying empty rental properties in Caleta de Fuste and to add insult to injury it appears to be an uninsurable problem.
