I noticed on the other forum that this subject has come up again and I thought it would be a useful topic here. 

I have a system that I brought with me from the UK where we used it because our water was so chalky it was like milk!

It is a PurePro RS4000 alkaline water filter. (Not Reverse Osmosis (RO)). Doesn't seem much point in home RO as our mains water has already been through that process.

Anyone know where I might get a Panasonics repair done? Or any friendly electronics bods on here? No power to the unit at all. Tried changing the internal fuse (courtesy JT) but no joy. It would be a shame to junk it but I suppose it might not be cost effective to repair.

I need to find a better way to have water rather than lugging severa 8L water bottles from Mercadona every week.

I asked around in Ideal and Tiendaelectron in Puerto when I was in the area earlier today - neither had them.

I did find a "under sink" filtration system but at almost €200 I think I'll wait a bit longer.

Can anyone recomend any shops in the north who sell the Britta (or similar) systems and more importantly... the refils?

I have a neighbour who has lived here for 3 years, and has not joined the above system, he was apparently unaware he could but pays private insurance for him and his wife, he is 61 and she is a couple of years younger, he is currently paying €200+ per month for medication, in addition to his premiums, questions, am I right in saying he can elect to use the system and is there nay one with the experience of doing so?

Desktop computer for sale (in Triquivijate).
Acer Aspire X (model XC-780), little used (cost €486). The processor is an Intel i5-7400 chip and it has 8gb RAM and a 1tb hard drive. The graphics card is an Nvidia Geforce GT720 with 2gb ram and is running Windows 10 Home 64bit version. It also has a DVD RW and an external wifi card.
The monitor is a Samsung 32inch TV, the wireless keyboard and mouse are Spanish, although I can supply an older UK wired keyboard and mouse if preferred.

Just wondering if anyone has a ‘rough’ idea of the Labour cost for installing one solar panel with hot water tank on the roof of a two storey house?
There are already connections in place on the roof so it’s purely for fitting the solar panel and water tank and connecting up.
Just trying to get an idea of the Labour costs before I start getting quotes.
