Mid afternoon Sunday lunch 2/12 a real treat and great value for Money.

We dined with 2 friends shared 4 starters then had 2 mixed grilled meats between the four of us served with grilled red pepper and fries followed by the house chocolate tart. A large beer, a bottle of Lanzarote white wine and a bottle of Rioja as drinks and then 4 very large shots.  Bill came to 94.75€. 

Friendly service and what impressed us was the number of locals using the restaurant.

Just noticed that they have now installed an electric bike sharing station outside the R2 hotel. Goes by the name 'Lovesharing'.
Sounds like bikes for swingers! 

They have the names Nextbike and Lovesharing on the station. Both websites suggest you request information or download the app. No prices given. But it does say bring it back to this station, so not sure how far you could go or if any other stations are planned for Fuerteventura.

Public Health advises against bathing for an unusual algae in Tarajalejo Beach.

The City Council of Tuineje communicates that bathing on the beach of Tarajalejo is discouraged due to the appearance of an unusual species of algae in the area. The Public Health Service of the Government of the Canary Islands, is studying the algae, and advises to prevent bathing and access to the area until the results of the analyzes that are being carried out are obtained.
