Caleta Taxis number change?
Was at Mercadona the other day and tried to call for a taxi when I had too much stuff to carry back home. No one answered the number, so I googled and got a different number for the same company. Tried that, and it disconnected. Went back into the shop and asked them to call one, and there was one outside the door in —no joke— 90 seconds.

Taxis from The Airport
I read an article this morning where one of the councillors responsible for transport, I am not sure which one, is suggesting That all taxis from whichever Ayumento be allowed to pick up from The Airport, providing he has dropped someone there, the idea is to have someone to marshal arrivals in to separate queues, therefor enabling taxis from Pajara or Olivia etc to collect a return fare, and avoid travelling back empty, in my opinion for what it is worth is it is an excellent idea. Taxis in Caleta
Really not sure what is going on with Caleta Taxis. Over the past couple of weeks have had unexpected experiences. Firstly, one evening I phoned for a taxi and had to wait about 20 minutes, whereas historically I would just about have had time to lock up the house. Then last week phoned to book a taxi to the airport for the next day and was told that they are no longer taking advanced bookings - this must be new because they have historically.
