UK mobiles in FV
Hi All,

If I want the fastest 4g signal possible on the island from a U.K. SIM card is there a best choice of UK provider ? Or do all U.K. SIMs hook up to the same mast and network irrespective of which U.K. provider you choose ?

If not then is it a matter of deducing which is the best Spanish network in my area of the island and then choosing a U.K. SIM which hooks up to this particular network rather than a different slower one ?

Many thanks.

New Sabadell fees now applicable for UK clients
I have just queried a debit on my Sabadell account of €18 showing as commission/fees. After an online chat I found out that post Brexit we are now subject to a non EU transaction fee of 0.35%/€18 minimum on every transfer from the UK to our Spanish account.
Would be interested to know if a similar fee is being implemented by other banks. Thanks

Cease paying UK income tax
I’m hoping I can learn from someone’s experience here...! I’m having a tussle with Agencia Tributaria over income tax paid in the UK on a private pension which is paid in the UK. Currently questioning 2019, but I can see the same coming for 2020 and beyond. I’ve accurately reported the tax paid in the UK, and provided proof, and under the double-taxation agreement this is deducted from the larger tax bill due here, fair enough. AT do not, however, seem to like this.

I am sure I can

Uk citizens with a property on the island
I was wondering if anyone had seen an official site with definitive advice about those of us who have properties if when international flights  (May 17th hopefully) if we can actually travel to the island.

I know at the moment the UK government are saying if you don`t have a valid reason for a "holiday" & travel you can be fined up to £5K.

I have some people on various sites saying you can travel if you have a property. However, I want an official site but can`t find anything rather than

UK pension, new EU directive
For anyone who is resident here , if you are using a pension/ financial adviser for your UK private pension, they must now have an office in Spain to be able to represent you. This is a new EU directive - another result of Brexit.
