The Local Police of La Oliva identifies five people for dumping garbage in Parque Holandés

Just a few days after the City Council of La Oliva carried out a cleaning shake in Parque Holandés, up to five people had dumped in different unauthorized areas of the town. "It cannot be that with public resources we are making an effort in investment for cleaning and on the other hand there are individuals who dedicate themselves to throwing garbage anywhere" regrets Mayor Pilar González, who stresses that "we will have zero tolerance with those they are dedicated to dirtying public spaces, the half measures are over ”.

Citizen collaboration is key to ending this type of attitudes of the most unfriendly residents. Thanks to it, the Local Police of La Oliva has been able to identify the five offenders who dumped garbage in Parque Holandés, dealing with debris and pruning remains.

The local Police force has already identified the five offenders, who are now facing a penalty that could reach 3,000 euros, for the abandonment, dumping or uncontrolled disposal of waste. The agents also work on the runway for up to four more people who in recent days have thrown garbage out of the spaces designated for it.

The City Council of La Oliva, together with the Local Police, is studying the surveillance system to be implemented in those habitual dumping points to be able to deter violators and to identify those who continue to throw garbage.

"It is inconceivable, how is it possible for someone to take this matter so lightly and throw garbage anywhere," asks Mayor Pilar González, who highlights the effort that "we are going to continue making in terms of cleanliness."

In this sense, the councillor of the area, Celino Umpiérrez, has underlined that they continue to carry out cleaning the towns, “after Parque Holandés we have been working in La Caldereta and El Roque. Now we are acting on El Cotillo and then we will continue on to Tindaya, Villaverde and La Oliva ”, explained Umpiérrez, who points out that“ we are making these cleaning battles as a shock action for an in-depth cleaning of the towns and then we continue in all them with an already maintenance cleaning ”.
