A sea scare a boat in La Graciosa.
Although there were moments of nervousness, especially among children, the ship docked without problems
A big scare. That was what took a part of the passage that returned from La Graciosa to Órzola, this Sunday, March 10, says Lancelot.
As stated in the video that runs through social networks, taken by one of the passengers of the ship, a wave entered through the stern of the Romero line ship as it entered the cove of the port of Órzola.
There were moments of some nervousness, especially among the children, who cried from fright to see how the sea water entered the passenger deck.
It all ended in a scare, insist the passengers who lived the experience, and who docked minutes later at the Órzola dock.
Despite the fact that the tide was already quite empty, the overflow caused one of the three or four waves in a row that form every five or six minutes in the inlet at the entrance to Puerto de Órzola, to enter through the stern.
The boat was never in any danger, as the skippers of these boats are quite experienced in avoiding this type of phenomenon, although on some occasions it is almost inevitable that some water will enter either due to rough seas or overflow.
The boat that experienced this anecdote was the Líneas Romero boat, which left at 6:00 p.m. from La Graciosa and arrived at 6:30 p.m. in Órzola.
Líneas Romero has over 50 years of experience and has never had a serious accident.
