There were no injuries when the catamaran plunged into the breakwater near the port of Marina Rubicon
In an unfortunate maritime incident, a ship has run aground against the rocky breakwater near the port of Marina Rubicón, in Playa Blanca, in what appears to be a consequence of the adverse Weather conditions prevailing in the area.
The catamaran has suffered significant damage, rendering it unusable, according to local sources. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident, as the crew managed to leave the vessel under their own power.
In the images, it can be clearly seen how the ship has been pushed against the breakwater, causing visible damage to its structure.
