Reopens after 38 million euros of investment the Barceló de El Castillo
According to the specialized magazine hosteltur.com, the first owner of hotels in southern Europe, Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), has announced the opening of one of the most important repositioning projects it has undertaken in Spain, the Barceló Fuerteventura Beach Resort, the largest resort on the Canary Island, in which it has invested more than 38 million euros.
Located at the foot of the beach of Caleta de Fuste, the Barceló Fuerteventura Beach Resort complex integrates four hotels (Barceló Fuerteventura Mar, Barceló Fuerteventura Castillo, Royal Level Adult Only and Royal Level Family Club), with a total of 964 rooms and an area of 150,000 square meters.
The 964 rooms have been completely renovated and designed according to the needs of the different types of guests of the resort. The play of shapes and volumes with buildings in height, which alternate with spacious bungalows and large garden areas, contribute to highlight the privileged enclave in which the complex is located.

One of the great novelties of the resort are the two new Royal Level hotels, one for adults only and the other specialized in families.
The resort integrates the offer of four hotels.
The Royal Level Adults Only has 129 fully equipped suites for an exclusive stay with your partner or friends. A space created to enjoy a premium experience within the resort with exclusive access to a buffet restaurant, an adults-only pool and a pool bar.
On the other hand, the Royal Level Family Club has 48 spacious suites with separate bedroom for the maximum comfort of families and an exclusive entertainment proposal ideal for the whole family.
It has seven swimming pools
It offers a varied gastronomic offer in its 14 restaurants and bars, seven swimming pools, sports areas on the beachfront, gym, large theater, minigolf, thalasso spa of 3,000 square meters (the largest on the island), a marina and a shopping center complete the leisure and entertainment offer, designed for both families and adults.
HIP points out that the other axis on which conceptualization and repositioning has pivoted has been sustainability. The first of the four hotels that make up the resort and that was inaugurated last November, the Barceló Fuerteventura Mar, has achieved the BREEAM certificate with a 'very good' rating.
Likewise, HIP has installed 204 solar panels generating 160MWh annually, about 7% of the energy it consumes.
