Bishop of Canary Islands in the news again!
#1
Noticias:

The Bishop of the Canary Islands mixes consent with hemorrhages under the Abortion Law.

A new departure of tone of Jose Mazuelos calls into question the criterion of the prelate for legislative criticism.
"We will see some girl die at night, at home, with a complication of abortion, with a hemorrhage, because she will not dare to tell her father that she has gone without her consent to have an abortion." With this harsh allegation, the Bishop of the Diocese of the Canary Islands, José Mazuelos tries to criticize the new abortion law that allows minors to abort without parental permission.

The new law aims to give young women decision-making power based on the circumstances surrounding them in relation to the abortion debate. The Council of Ministers approved the draft law amending Organic Law 2/2010, of 3 March, on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Voluntary Interruption of Pregnancy.

The Council of Ministers gave the green light to the rule, which must now go through Congress and, subsequently, go to the Senate. The government's goal is for the abortion law to be passed before the end of the legislature next year.

In this sense, the Bishop of the Canary Islands, much criticized with other assertions of legislation in the state, such as when to criticize euthanasia he said "It is enough to open the gas or throw yourself before the train".
