Sportium have informed me that they are awaiting Government approval before reopening their betting shops. They will make an announcement when they have information.
My guess is that there will have to be special measures that they will have to invoke to accommodate use of the touchscreens on the betting terminals.

Does anyone know when Sportium will reopen? I'll be my usual controversial self here. Keep 'em closed. Permanently! I've had too many wives with kids to feed crying on the phone that the old man had blown his wages in the bookie on Friday night. I couldn't count on my two hands how many guys that I've employed on the strict understanding that continued employment would only be on the premise that wages would be paid directly to the wife.

Visited China Town in the estate by Mattoral today for some small bits and pieces. Felt the closest to normal we've felt since the beginning of this whole mess!
Gel-based sanitation station as you enter, but no gloves. Blessedly the current situation has meant they've had to temporarily retire their irritating your-bag-in-their-locked-bag policy, so can you can now shop with access your bag if you need it! (The amount of times the walk through the dusty ground from Caleta has left me sneezing and needing a tissue only to discover that they are all locked away...) They are stringently enforcing the mask rule, though; saw a man turned away at the door for not having one. Staff and shoppers pretty spread out as it's such a massive store. Bathrooms were open, to my great surprise. Pleasant enough experience overall, though I'm going to limit my trips as much as possible for obvious reasons.

IMHO I am surprised so many businesses have opened as there is only the local population to to rely on and many of them will not have the funds to spend on non essentials, talking to one business person there was the novelty in the first few days but now people are feeling the pinch and trade has dropped off.
