Is it possible to exchange a Nu-b (little white one) for a Nu-b plus (bigger blue one)?

You can check which stations sell which products on this page Disa
I'm hoping to buy my first gas bottle tomorrow, does anyone know what paperwork you need?
I'm guessing TIE, NIE & Padron will be sufficient?

I bought ours about 5 years ago, not difficult TIA/Passport and a form to fill in which is fairly basic, initial cost circa €40+ majority of which is for the license, I cannot remember what the last replacement cost but €4/5 I think,

We also had to provide proof that we had bought an appliance that needed the bottle! Often the paperwork and first bottle has to be done in a different place to where you would get refills. In corralejo it used to be the tobacconists opposite the shell garage at the bottom of the main street! All our paperwork got sent to GC for approval and then we were notified to go to the tobacconists to pay and collect! (we had to drive around to the back of the shop to get the Bottle)
This was a few years ago so hopefully more straight forward now 🤣

Blimey! I have the receipt for the BBQ so should hopefully be good. I'll ask at the DISA garage and see what they say.

I bought ours at the petrol station opposite Playa Blanca, and was definitely not asked whether I had an appliance, I suppose it is very much on the day? 4/5 years back they refused a licence to WG, because of supposedly heightened terrorist threat Rolleyes Rolleyes Rolleyes Rolleyes Rolleyes  cannot remember the details but I am sure John will

Yes quite correct JR, you have better grey cells than I😀😀, I went to the DISA garage on the Tetir junction of the ring road opposite the garden centre and yes they were not issuing new licences due to the increased terrorist threat?

I got a small bottle of gas from the ferreteria in El Matorral, the guy there is very helpful and when I went to change it he had got me a DISA bottle which I haven't had to exchange yet, strabge thing was he didn't want the original small red bottle back?
