Camping Gas Canisters (Sunday Opening Hours)
#1
Hello Fuerteventura members,

We will arrive on a Sunday in Fuerteventura. Are there any Ferraterias (or other places) in Puerto del Rosario that are opened on a Sunday? We are looking for gas cartridges for camping stoves.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Best wishes

I'm pretty sure they are all closed on a Sunday, but if anyone knows anything different, I'm sure they will correct me. Your best option will be petrol stations. There are several in Puerto, including one at the airport. The other option is the Chinese Shops (of which there are many). One of the largest is China Town near IKEA (head south from the airport and its just before Caleta).

The petrol station at Playa Blanca just south of the airport is open and sells gas canisters.
To me drinking responsibly means do not spill it.

Thanks again for your help. Just to make sure we are speaking about the same canisters, the size is around 400ml / 13oz.

Tom.

China Town will not be open on Sunday; nothing in that estate is. I don't believe anything in Puerto will be, either.

You might have some luck in The China Shop in the center of Caleta, across from the White Center. I'm not sure if they have these, but they may, and they should be open.
