I think this article in RTVAC is referring to Camper Vans rather than tents. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere years ago that tents are banned but I could well be wrong.

Hello Fuerteventura members,

We will arrive on a Sunday in Fuerteventura. Are there any Ferraterias (or other places) in Puerto del Rosario that are opened on a Sunday? We are looking for gas cartridges for camping stoves.
