The zero rate of Tenerife airports forces Tenerife players to land in Fuerteventura.
At the moment Eurocontrol does not let out flights to Tenerife or Gran Canaria, Lanzarote has a flooded runway and for now Fuerteventura endures.
Although it seems that the situation improves at times in the western islands, the impressive rains experienced today in Tenerife, has closed both airports with multiple detours to Fuerteventura. The zero rate of the European aeronautical authorities to the airports of Tenerife and Gran Canaria, together with the recent announcement that the runway of Lanzarote is flooded leaves the majorero airport as an asset for the operation that is in the air.
Among them the flight from La Coruña where the players of C.D. Tenerife traveled to the beaked island. In addition 2 flights to Tenerife and Gran Canaria that had been diverted to Lanzarote, must change their destination to
Fuerteventura again.
The situation, as we say improvement in the eastern islands, but according to the AEMET it had never rained so much on a day in September in Tenerife, exceeding 100 liters per square meter and distressing situations in many towns.
