Casa Winter visiting Cofete
#1
We have visited Cofete yesterday and had a lovely day on the beach. What a stunning place.
Drove up to the villa too and took a picture. Didn't attempt to go in to the "museum". Searching on the net I have found a few bits of info about the villa, but a bit confused about who lived there and what visiting the place is like, anyone know?

Try YouTube

Or search Villa Winter on YouTube as there are several videos.

Mostly conjecture and rumours and I don't think we will ever know the truth!

By coincidence we visited Cofete and Villa Winter yesterday with our Christmas and New Year guests.

We made a small donation at Villa Winter and had a look round, not a lot to see, will let the photos tell the story -

There's no place like Cofete in the whole archipelago.

If you feel like walking there instead of the drive, this is a good place to park:

The hike takes a couple of hours and you can take a 4x4 bus back to Morro Jable if you won't fancy to walk all the way back.
