Corralejo first visit.

Wife and I heading to Corralejo on 10th February for 7days, our first visit to Corralejo so any tips/advice on where to go etc would be nice. Mrs enjoys naked sunbathing with a good book but I enjoy a naked walk if possible.

Start at the Riu hotels and walk south - miles of naked beach.

My wife and I visited this place in November and parked here. It was lovely. I am going again in March with some friends and I can’t wait to return. But this time, I am packing a snorkel. 😊

What was the seaweed situation like? The last time that I went snorkelling there, the lagoons were full of the stuff.

I would say that there was no seaweed apart from the living seaweed, The sea was crystal clear with plenty fish of all shapes and sizes, we went naked snorkelling all week. Great place I hope to return one day but going to try Corralejo next Saturday for 7 days, we will be taking our masks & snorkels.

Thanks for that info. We always stay in the South, but usually do a visit to El Cotillo at least once as we hire a car for the duration. The beaches around Esquinzo are naturist friendly, but very sandy and not the best for snorkelling.
Do the airforce jets still buzz the lagoons? Scares the crap out of you if you are snorkelling and don’t hear them coming. The first time it happened to me, was not long after the big tsunami. Thought that my number was up!

Haha, never seen or heard any jets. We were at Costa Calma at Christmas and spent every day naked on the beach, not the best there either for snorkelling. Have you got any more holidays planned.

A bit tricky this year, due to family commitments. However, we will try to get a last minute booking in September. We usually stay at the Monte Marina Naturist apartments which are self catering as my wife is coeliac, making AI hotel buffets a cross contamination minefield. They are simple clean apartments set in immaculate grounds that has a pool and sauna. We tend to stick to the beach as the sea is warmer.

We are much the same with holidays, We will be going to Shetland in May for a few days to visit family & friends then maybe mainland Spain or menorca in the summer, We don’t usually bother with all inclusive holidays but we got this one for a fair price.
