The Cotilleando multidisciplinary art festival returns to the town of El Cotillo on October 12 and 13, with several confirmed international artists from Peru, Chile, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Italy, Bulgaria, Spain and the Canary Islands, and others many who will join the program until its celebration.
Circus, dance, music, theater or crafts are some of the artistic disciplines that we can enjoy that weekend in El Cotillo, in the framework of this festival that celebrates its fourth edition promoted by the Cultural Association TabaibArt and the City Council of La Oliva.
Cotilleando is "a festival at street level, in which the shows and performances take place in a spectacular setting such as the El Cotillo Muellito environment, favoring the connection between artists and the public. It is an intimate and large event , because it surprises by its variety, but also by its quality ", valued the Councilor for Culture, Iballa Pérez.
From the TabaibArt Cultural Association, they explain that Cotilleando is "an event for all ages, which brings together magic and harmony, with a showcase as peculiar as the old town of El Cotillo, where the moonlight, the stars and the sound of the Mar accompany the viewer on a lively and fun tour, "says the festival coordinator, the trapeze specialist and trainer at the stunt school of La Oliva Stefy Faga.
International artists confirmed
Among the artists already confirmed in Cotilleando 2019 it is worth mentioning Marta Camuffi, who will offer a show of hair suspension (acrobatics hanging from the hair), the spectacular bubble sculptures that Yuri Bussi will perform, “The Crazy Bubbler”, next to the violinist Marilina Dobreva , the acrobats Claudia Franco and Cristian Trelles, specialists in wheel cyr, juggling and unicycle, or the show of José Luis Redondo and Jorge Albuerne (theater, clown and circus), who already triumphed in the first edition of Cotilleando and who return to unleash the audience laughs with their new show, Ye Orbayu.
They will also present their experimental circus show Andrea Sperotto and Francesco Caspani, and, on Sunday, the public will be able to participate in the painting workshops, exhibitions, etc.
The final show, already a classic of this festival, this year will come from the hand of renowned artistic director Roberto Magro, and that, without revealing the details of the show, has advanced its title: Sunset Effect.
A program with surprises
The TabaibArt association emphasizes that the greatest value of Gossiping is exactly the surprise factor: being able to walk freely and get carried away by the music, stunts, dancing and live creations that artists will make directly on the spot. "Artists adapt to space, and not vice versa."
The program will be announced coinciding with the dates of the festival and will be distributed in El Cotillo, so that the public can organize their own route once in the town. It will also be available in digital format for download via the Internet, from PC or on the mobile phone.
