Currants or mixed dried fruit

anyone any ideas, we have tried the Brit shops with no luck, I even tried to order a case, but they tell me their suppliers only stock them coming up to Christmas??

Haven't bought currants by them selves but the last time I got mixed fruit was in Lanzarote at the big Brit shop. (not a pre Christmas visit!) I find a trip to Lanza once or twice a year is well worth it.

I’m sure I’ve seen them in HiperDino. If it’s a bit of help in the number two department you require I can highly recommend dried figs. They’ve provided me with great relief in the past.
