The night race that runs through the tourist town of Corralejo returns on a spectacular illuminated route. Next Saturday, April 27, the fifth edition of the Dany Sport Corralejo Night Running is held, which this year offers interesting attractions such as cash prizes for the first classifieds, flying goals or a free children's race.

This morning this sporting event was presented with the participation of Daniel del Toro on behalf of the main sponsor, Dany Sport, and from the organization, with the Councillor for Sports of the City Council of La Oliva, Gleiber Carreño, and with Óscar Padilla on behalf of the Club Deportivo Maxoathlon Fuerteventura.

Daniel del Toro stressed that this event "continues to consolidate as an additional incentive to practice sports in Corralejo and the municipality," offering a tour of the resort, and a spectacular passage through the beach of Muelle Chico, also "some surprises that we will see in the race ".

The Councillor for Sports called on "the participation of lovers of running, athletics and sports in general to enjoy this race," said Gleiber Carreño.

Registration is open until Thursday, April 25 at the Dany Sport store in Corralejo, and at the Macebike Fuerteventura and Maxofisio stores in Puerto del Rosario. The collection of numbers will be the day of the race, from 10:00 to 20:00 in Dany Sport, with the scheduled departure at 21:00 o'clock.

The 5-kilometer route will have its main section on the Avenida Nuestra Señora del Carmen, with a spectacular passage illuminated by the beach of Muelle Chico, and a flying goal before the finish line in the first round, with a prize for the first male and female runners. female. There will also be cash prizes for the top three male and female qualifiers in the absolute event. The children's race, one kilometre, will be free for runners under 13 years.

In masculine it was the local athlete Juan José García (Maxoatlhón) who launched the race, in the style of Rafa Trinidad, and being first on the way through the flying goal, he was followed a few meters by the TFCC Quintero conejero, further back Pablo Rodríguez (CEA Tenerife) and Rafa Trinidad (Breñamén Las Playitas) fought for the third place, to which the incombustible Rafa did not come at any time of the race, was closer Pablo Rodríguez of second place than Rafa of the third.
