That land was for sale so guess it may have been sold. Could be used for wind farm or similar, so time will tell!

Looks like a substantial bit of fencing work/expense. Could be something connected to the airport. Doubt if any ordinary “commercial” enterprise would spend that much securing the area. IMHO

Going on John’s idea of a toilet block Not sure where the municipality boundary is between PDR and Antigua when it gets to the coast but based on the recent post about camp site as Antigua currently only has one at Pozo Negro it could well be a new camp site.

Drives me mad that the new developments will have to sit next to half-built abandoned eyesores.
The fact that the government can't/won't put pressure on the banks to release them to developers beggars belief. I have no problem with expansion and improvement around the island, but new development should be halted until existing development is actually developed!

While I agree with your sentiments regarding the part built eyesores help as high value “paper assets” by the banks. It really has no connection with this particular development as it is obviously not domestic accommodation. I do agree though that the banks (which no one should forget were bailed out by Joe Taxpayer) should be forced to release these unfinished developments before anymore large scale developments are given planning permission. However, it is Spain. I am sure the brown envelope still carries more weight out there 😁😁
