Hi Ron - not sure what types of cars your company runs but I have not used supermarket fuel for 6 years or so as a vey good mechanic I used back then told me he wouldn't service my car if I continued to use supermarket fuel as there are no additives in it to protect the engine,  plus as I monitor my fuel consumption I could  prove back then I got 10% to 12% mpg better with main brand fuel i.e. Shell or BP  which out weighed the price difference.

Morning Guys
Just to back up what John is saying, We did some work for Exxon { Esso } in 2013 in their shops, their company car drivers were not allowed to fill up at Supermarket  Petrol Stations, they could use B.P. or Shell no problem but not anywhere else for that very reason, I had never heard or thought about it before, but needless to say never used them afterwards,  I have often wondered why they do not make a bigger thing of it in their Advertising.

We just use small petrol cars. Got three new Suzuki Celero’s in July & I was getting over 65mpg on basic unleaded so can’t complain at that, the cars are on a service contract so no worries that way either. I don’t see how/why it should or can make any difference when I have been told the same tankers go to both types of outlet on the same run
