Any recommendations for a really good diesel mechanic?
I have a problem with my Nissan Terrano which my mechanic (Colin Lowe) has been able to fix - he has suggested Sure Diesel (changed name to Fuerte diesel) in PDR but it's going to be expensive. Can anyone suggest a local mechanic they are happy with? (we are in triqui)

I am confused. You say Colin has been able to fix it? But now looking for a diesel mechanic?

I always use Victor,s opposite The ITV station, and am more than happy to recommend them, both for price and quality of work, my car is petrol, but I know he repairs diesel, as I have seen many diesel powered vehicles there, if you want another recommendation ask the Guardia as he services and repairs their vehicles.

Sorry TF, I should have been clearer, It is just opposite the ITV station in Mattoral, pass Mercadona, take first left, left at the top of the road, first right and it is 2/3 buildings up on your right.

Didn't know there was a mechanic there but I knew there was one near the ITV in La Corte. Do they speak English?

One or two of them do, but I have managed to use them for 6/7 years without it being an issue.
