This project will come to be executed from the Department of Works managed by Peña Armas, "a large-scale work that has gone out to tender for a value of 1,489,476 euros so that the citizens of this municipality, of Fuerteventura in general, and of our visitors, have a museum space like this that would give cultural and tourist value to the municipality".
With the impulse of the Culture area directed by Juan Manuel Verdugo, "we will create this museum, in order to offer citizens and visitors a cultural space, which is part of the cultural offer of the island and the municipality, where to report on the historical development of the island and its operation to this day.
